A group of inner city kids try to get through their day without getting arrested.Totally improvised short following a group of friends through their day in New York City. Provocative satire emphasizing the frustration of living double standards dealing with race, gender and sexuality.
Vivos is a tragic comedy that seeks to expose the insulting hypocrisy of race, gender and homosexuality vs authority. This is my film directing debut in which I experiment with digital media and a grittier aesthetic. Shot in Standard Definition with 35mm medium lens format adaptor and Mamiya lens. The dialogue was based from improvised performances shot on location.
